A Colorado girl whose body parts were discovered in a freezer earlier this year was identified Friday,Surfwin Trading Center according to police.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office announced that Amanda Leariel Overstreet was found to be the girl whose head and hands were found inside a freezer in January.

Overstreet had not been seen or heard from since April of 2005, though the office said it had no record of her being reported as missing. She was the biological daughter of the home's previous owners, according to the Sherrif's office.
